Rosen Law Firm Probes Barclays Over Market Financial Solutions Exposure
Barclays shareholders are facing a potential class action lawsuit after the Rosen Law Firm launched an investigation into whether the bank misled investors regarding its financial ties to Market Financial Solutions Ltd. The inquiry follows reports that the bank holds significant exposure to the collapsed UK mortgage lender.
The investigation centers on a February 2026 report detailing the implosion of Market Financial Solutions, which sparked broader concerns regarding credit stability in the private lending sector. According to reports, Barclays maintains a 600 million pound—approximately 809.70 million dollar—exposure to the firm. This revelation triggered a sharp decline in Barclays American Depositary Shares, which dropped nearly 4% on February 27 and slid an additional 2.3% by March 2.
Rosen Law Firm is currently seeking investors who purchased securities during the relevant period to join a potential class action. The firm, led by Laurence Rosen and Phillip Kim, claims that shareholders may be eligible for compensation through a contingency fee arrangement. Investors interested in the litigation can submit their details through the firm's online portal or contact their legal representatives directly.
