Sonata Software Taps Hariprasad Rebala as Chief AI Officer

Rebala joins the leadership team at a critical juncture for the 1.2 billion dollar company. His mandate focuses on translating artificial intelligence adoption into measurable business velocity for clients across the retail, manufacturing, and financial sectors. Before this appointment, he served as Chief of AI Solutions and Growth at a deep-tech startup and held senior roles at firms including Mindtree, Capgemini, and Wipro.

CEO Rajsekhar Datta Roy noted that the hire combines Rebala’s startup agility with his background in large-scale enterprise engineering. The company currently employs over 6,400 AI engineers and maintains partnerships with major technology players such as Microsoft, AWS, and Snowflake. Rebala stated that his immediate goal is to move beyond AI experimentation, centering his efforts on building differentiated platforms that provide clients with a sustained competitive advantage in a crowded market.
