Creality Debuts SPARKX i7 Nano for Compact Multi-Color Printing

Priced at $299, the new SPARKX i7 Nano brings four-color desktop 3D printing to a smaller footprint. Available starting August 15, the machine integrates AI-powered monitoring and automated filament management, targeting users who require professional-grade output within the constraints of a standard workspace.

The i7 Nano builds on the architecture of the i7 Color Combo, shrinking the hardware profile through an integrated spool holder that snaps directly onto the frame. This design removes the need for external filament systems while maintaining the ability to switch between four materials. The printer achieves speeds of up to 500 mm/s within a 260 × 260 × 255 mm build volume, supported by a 300°C hardened steel nozzle.

Operational intelligence defines the user experience, featuring a 720p AI camera to detect print failures like spaghetti or air printing. Software tools such as CubeMe allow users to convert 2D portraits into multi-color 3D models automatically. The system also includes vibration compensation, dynamic pressure adjustment, and RFID filament recognition to minimize manual calibration. By pairing the unit with the CFS nano Kit, users gain a dual-motor filament management system that simplifies color transitions and ensures efficient material retraction.
