Cellebrite Faces Investor Probe After 30% Stock Plunge

Cellebrite DI Ltd. shares tumbled over 30% this month following a disappointing second-quarter earnings report that forced the company to slash its full-year revenue and ARR guidance. The sudden downturn has triggered a formal investigation by law firm Levi & Korsinsky into whether the company misled shareholders regarding its financial health.

Management pinned the weak performance on protracted sales cycles and slower-than-expected adoption of its Inseyets platform. The results stood in sharp contrast to statements made just three months earlier. During the May 14 earnings call, Chief Financial Officer David Barter told investors that the company’s initial 2026 outlook remained unchanged, while projecting second-quarter ARR between $510 million and $513 million. When the final figures arrived on August 13, ARR had reached only $507.8 million.

Legal experts are now reviewing whether Cellebrite adequately disclosed the risks underlying its 2026 guidance before the downward revision. The investigation aims to determine if the firm issued materially misleading statements about its growth trajectory and the conversion success of its product lines. Investors who sustained losses during this period are currently being evaluated for potential securities claims.
